Russell Malbrough serves as College Director Alumni Relations for the Suffolk Community College Foundation. He brings over fifteen years of professional experience in non-profit organizations related to education and healthcare to this role. Earlier in his career, Mr. Malbrough held several planning and research positions at Columbia University, served as a Development Assistant for the American Lung Association in New York and co-founded the Inman Page Black Alumni Council of the Brown University Alumni Association. Malbrough is a Board Member of the Timothy Benevolent Fund based in Denver, Colorado. He formerly served as an Executive Board Member of the Black Ivy Alumni League and held multiple leadership positions in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Alpha Gamma Chapter and Kappa Xi Lambda Chapter.) He is longtime supporter of The Brotherhood SisterSol, Inc. non-profit organization. Mr. Malbrough earned a Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Africana Studies from Brown University, a Master’s degree in African American Studies from Columbia University and studied at Northwestern University. For Manhattan Center and Science and Mathematics High School he has co-chaired 1 Year Class Reunion, 10 Year Class Reunion and served on the Planning Committee for 20 Year Class Reunion. For Columbia University he serves as Co-Chair of IRAAS Alumni. Outside of work his interests include photography, technology and travel.
